Nude seafood is an uptown eatery and restaurant located in the CBD and is no stranger to people working in the area. You'll notice queues and a packed restaurant daily during lunch hours and during dinner service and this is for good reason.

The founders and chefs of the establishment strive to provide the freshest and most perfectly grills, seared and cut fish and food for all their patrons and it certainly shows. I've been following and eating there since the days they only had a facebook page to their current revamped menus and fully fledged website and i do feel that everything they serve thus far has been above average or better.

Bara Chiraishi Don ($17)

For a CBD location, their food ranges from $4 for dessert to $32 for their duo snapper and salmon which i've also tasted before but unfortunately did not take a photo of. Their prices are net inclusive of gst and very reasonable for the quality.

The Bara Chiraishi don seen here was during one of my lunches during work and its everything you want it to be. Its fresh, the combination of tamago, salmon, ikura and other assorted fish mixed with sushi rice and pickles is splendid and you'll just keep coming for more. This is cold dish so if you prefer something cooked. The Duo snapper and salmon is a great choice as its made upon order and served hot. The same quality i've had there twice is that the salmon and snapper melts in your mouth and you can taste the miso and hickory smoke in their respective pieces. Its quite an experience albeit slightly more pricey.

The environment is a casual one and service has always been friendly and good. One thing to note is that the place used to be closed on Sundays and public holidays but i'm not sure if this is still the case. They also do takeaways and events and even deliveries to nearby offices.

Overall, this is a place where food is done right and tastes great.

Verdict: Editors choice and worth many repeat visits.
