My wife and i are both huge Jay Chou fans, so its inevitable that we would seek out this place which is opened by Mr Jay Chou. 

Firstly, do note that it is quite a distance from the usual traffic and is located in a medical university. Other then that, it should be easy to get in and we arrived with no crowd on a weekend.

The interiors are all suitably furnished with lots of memorabilia from the movie "The Secret" which stars Mr Jay Chou of course. The main centerpiece being the piano similar to the one used in the movie. So lots of photo opportunities in the place. I found it tastefully decorated and it feels a little pressurizing at times because everything looks expensive.

The food was also slightly pricey in comparison but would fall within the SGD 20-30 range.

Honey marinated Barbeque pork ribs

Salad with alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, croutons and cherry tomatoes with thousand island sauce. Refreshing.

The scallop was big, fresh and sweet.

Truffle mushroom soup was fragrant and slightly salty. Portion was a little small though.

I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood pizza which had generous toppings of squid, mussels and crab sticks. Simple, homely and filling.

The 2 fish dishes were a mixed reception with one being under cooked and the other overcooked.

I insisted to have 1 dessert here and ordered this. A huge cream puff. Nothing to exciting about it but the design is a nice touch.

Overall, i think the food could be better but that is probably not the reason most people visit. Like us, we just wanted bragging rights to say we've been to our idols restaurant and we got it. Its a nice place away from the bustle of the city while still being in the city. 

Verdict: Come for the experience.
