Pin Pin Hiong is a small little stall with seating capacity of around 20-30 people and its only open from early morning till lunch. You'll need to be there early to grab some decent home style cooked food. Do give a little time to waiting for the food as there's only one cook for the entire restaurant and thats a good thing, quality is always consistent.

Food prices are generally acceptable for the quality and servings are generous.

The mee sua soup is a simple simple dish and tastes great. The soup is clear and sweet and very easy on the taste and stomach.

Pork Chop (RM 18 SGD 9)

The pork chop is simply fragrant, crispy and juicy. Its also made upon order and hot.

Kueh Teow (RM 14 SGD 4)

Wok hei, delicious sauce and fresh ingredients make this an awesomely simple yet wholesome dish.

Apart from the wait of around 15-20 minutes in the morning for a seat followed by another 15-20 minutes for the food, everything else about the place is quite endearing. Its simple and homely. Food is generally above average and very reasonably priced.

Verdict: Certainly worth a visit for a taste of homeliness.
