Overall, perhaps we ordered the wrong items on this visit or maybe it was just the wrong day. The misses were more then the hits on this run.
Verdict: Can try other items to see if it fits your taste.

Located right next to another famous stall, Soi 19 Wanton Mee, is this rather big dim sum place in the same coffee shop. During our last visit, we saw lots of people eating dim sum while we waited an hour for the noodles and figured this must be pretty good to have such a large following. How did it fare?
The menu has pretty around 50 different items to order not including those you can pick from their stall direct near the counter.
Pay first and eat later is the order of the day. Our bill came up to $23.80 for 5 items of dim sum which is a little on the high side.
Minced pork dumplings (Siew Mai) $3 for 4
Serviceable but nothing remarkable about this dumplings. Could not taste any shrimp in them so likely not used in this version. Meat was ok, maybe a little too tough.
Flower Crab Porridge ($6)
Pretty value for money because you get a full crab in the porridge and it looks pretty good. The porridge is the fully boiled kind which means starchy and pasty. The flower crab is salty which complements the bland tasting porridge to add taste.
Guo Tie ($5)
Came across as a little too oily and too big pieces. Taste wise, was alright and tasted similar to the siew mai. I liked the size but not my companion.
BBQ Pork Buns Char Siew Bao ($1.80)
The buns were a disappointment. Buns were not fluffy and the BBQ pork itself had minimal taste.
Nacho Cheese Crab ($8)
We had to wait around 30 minutes for this dish and had pretty high expectations. I'm afraid it fell short on a few pointers. The nacho cheese was not infused enough and didn't really add to the taste. The crab is mixed with pork and most likely the same pork in their buns and siew mai which was quite bland tasting. It reminded me of a dish i bought from Song fisheries which was ready made and just needed heating up.
