Follow the queue in the morning and you can't go wrong. Being one of the only dim sum places in Jonker street certainly has its advantages. The queue is ridiculously long in the morning and stretches a good 30-40 minutes before you can get a seat inside.
The menu is in plain sight and generally makes little to no sense because the food is served similar to the japanese sushi joint with a fixed price on the plates of food. Having said that, it simplifies ordering to just getting whatever you fancy and just pay at the end of the day. Speed is of the essence to eat here and the high energy screaming between the waiters will wake you up real good in the morning.

Their buns were hot property with some customers ordering 40 to take away, causing the chef to burst out angrily saying that no more take aways will be allowed. Taste wise, we found the smaller buns better in terms of the meat and fluffiness of the buns.
The lor mai gai is very old school in metal holders and served on the spot by the waiters. Sweet, tasty and just perfect old school taste.
Other assorted usual dim sum ordered were decent but no standouts from this batch.
Overall, the meal set us back by RM 74.20 (SGD 25) for 6 people. 23 items were ordered in all and inclusive of tea. Yes folks, thats SGD 4 per person for a table full of dim sum. You now know why there is a queue here perpetually.
Verdict: Decent food for its price and very economical.
