A Noodle Story (Revisit)
A Noodle Story (Revisit)
You must be thinking: So Soon? Just one post in between before the next meal here?
Well, truth is, there has been 3 months in between visits and this visit happened on 15th October 2016. On a Saturday.
The Story per se. |
The medium bowl $7.20 |
The 3 bowls. 2 Medium and 1 Small. |
Quality of the bowl has not diminished in the 3 months since. In fact, it tastes as good as it did during my previous visit. The difference now is that there are no more large bowls for the noodles and i think its for good reason. The 2 of us who ordered medium bowls were bursting at the seams after we finished the noodles.
The presentation is still immaculate and instagram worth with each bowl. The soup broth reminded us of pork stomach soup with added sweetness and all the other ingredients all taste as good as the first time i tried.
The difference between a medium bowl and a small bowl is: The onsen egg is halved, the wantons lesser, the pieces of pork lessened and the noodles itself is lesser as well. We conclude however, that the small bowl is enough for the average eater. It allows enough for you to have a good taste for everything offered.
There was no queue during our visit this morning because we were kiasu enough to be first in queue! Either way, still a highly recommended place for a good bowl of noodles. Try try try!
